The Experience

At Adara Wellness, our patient is thought of as a guest. Our team of professionals is already familiar to you.

The entire process is accomplished in a private and inviting office setting. As with all procedures for awake patients, you are involved with the treatment and thus empowered to oversee your own procedure. A fully equipped procedure suite provides a private changing area and photo preparation area. The procedure room is open with a one way window view.

Mild oral sedation is used and there is no need for an IV. You are encouraged to eat well that day and you are served snacks and refreshments during the procedure. After the procedure is almost completed, the patient stands to assess symmetry and allows Dr. Wasserman and his nurse to evaluate the initial goals and make sure that areas have been properly attended to.

At the completion of the procedure, the staff assists with application of the appropriate compression garment and in depth post procedure instructions are discussed as well as what to expect over the next few days. At this point, the patient leaves the office with their companion walking independently.
